Myopia management has become an essential part of any eyecare professional’s toolkit. And with the prediction of myopia increasing, that’s something which is unlikely to change.

MiYOSMART In Practice is a new training course aimed specifically at Optical Assistants and Practice Support Staff

Hosted online, it’s open to anyone in your practice; whether part-time or full-time, and regardless of any prior optics training.

 

Participants will learn:

  1. The basics of myopia; how it’s caused and why it tends to progress
  2. How myopia management works to slow down eye growth
  3. How to communicate effectively with young patients and their parents, building confidence and understanding

Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate and pin badge.
