What kinds of lenses does HOYA produce?
We offer progressives, photochromic lenses, sun solutions, single vision, anti-reflective coatings, occupational lenses, and special lenses for lifestyle activities like sports and driving.
What is MiYOSMART and how does it work?
MiYOSMART is an innovative spectacle lens that helps slow the progression of myopia in children. With the patented and award-winning Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (D.I.M.S.) Technology, the lens corrects the visual defect on its entire surface and has a ring-shaped treatment area that has been proven to slow myopia progression by an average of 60%. The treatment area creates focus and defocus in a 50:50 ratio which provides clear vision and manages myopia simultaneously.

Does HOYA Vision Care only offer prescription lenses?
No, HOYA sells both prescription and non-prescription lenses to various eye care providers who place orders on behalf of their patients. HOYA does not sell directly to patients.
Where does HOYA Vision Care manufacture its products?
HOYA is a multinational company with global resources. As such, our lab network is designed to help reduce delivery times for eye care providers while maintaining our rigorous quality standards.

Does HOYA Vision Care offer driving lenses?
Yes, we do. We offer HOYA EnRoute in two designs: EnRoute Standard and EnRoute Pro.
Some key features of EnRoute and EnRoute Pro:
- Both designs have a special AR coating with low rest reflection, meaning there is very little reflection off the coating
- Both designs significantly reduce glare by absorbing HEV light between 420-430nm due to the wavelengths emitted by the LED and Xenon headlights
- Both designs offer enhanced visibility and improved contrast and brightness
The EnRoute Pro has an additional contrast-enhancing filter in the material that offers:
- Better contrast perception in lower light conditions
- Less light scatter in foggy or rainy conditions and from LED headlights
- EnRoute Pro is especially great for those who have difficulty driving at night
Does HOYA Vision Care offer contact lenses?
We do not currently offer contact lenses in Canada. We offer various lens designs tailored to your specific lifestyle, occupation, and/or needs.
Are HOYA Vision Care lenses scratch-proof?
Yes! We offer everything you expect from anti-reflective (AR) treatments: increased visual clarity, scratch resistance, and long-term cleanability, all backed by a solid warranty. Check out our various AR Treatments.
Are HOYA Vision Care lenses expensive?
HOYA offers a wide range of lenses that are best for patients regardless of budget or managed vision care plan.
How can I tell if my eyeglass lenses are made by HOYA?
Most HOYA lenses are accompanied by a Quality Card. Your eye care provider can also validate your lenses.
Does HOYA sell its products directly to consumers?
