Industry veteran brings 20 years of leadership and more than 15 years of optical experience
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, November 29, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Ophthalmic lens technology leader HOYA Vision Care announced today that Steven Haifawi has been named President, Hoya Vision Care, Canada. In this position, Haifawi will be responsible for providing the vision for growth, short- and long-term company strategy, and commercial leadership for Canada.
Haifawi is highly regarded as a collaborative and engaging leader who brings a wealth of knowledge and an array of industry experience. He joins HOYA Vision Care with more than 15 years’ experience at Carl Zeiss Vision where he made significant impact to the business. Most recently, Steven was the Head of Vision Technology Solutions (VTS) at Zeiss where he delivered exceptional results for the business. Prior to that, he was a Senior Director of Customer Service, having driven the company’s customer experience transformation.
